Well, here's a nice surprise for Elden Ring owners! Bandai Namco has announced today that the game is getting a free update across all platforms (including Xbox One, Series X and Series S) this Wednesday, December 7th.
The update is called "Colosseum", and it will allow players to "engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls and team fights". You can see a sample of this in the trailer above,
"Come forth, warriors, and bask in the glory of the Colosseums."
No further details have been provided, so we don't know release times for this update just yet.
In other news, Elden Ring is nominated for the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2022 this week, and we're pretty sure it's going to take the crown.
