F1 22 is out now on Xbox platforms, at least in its early access form, which means a free trial is now live on EA Play! If you're a member of the subscription service, or a Game Pass Ultimate subscription holder of course, you can go hands on with 10 hours of F1 goodness before buying. And you can do it right now!

As we're in the early access phase and the base game isn't out yet, there's a few hoops to jump through at present to find the trial. It's simple enough though - here's how to download the F1 22 trial on Xbox:

We've been hands on with Codemasters' latest F1 entry ahead of the standard edition launch, and let us tell ya, it's really good fun. Despite reservations about the new 'F1 Life' mode, we've had a good time out on the track, and it looks and performs nice and slick on Xbox Series X.
