Forza Horizon 5 only launched about six months ago, but 'Horizon 6' appears to already be in development. A new job post, spotted by XGP, shows developer Playground Games advertising for a level designer on its "next AAA title", as part of the Forza Horizon team.

Now, we don't know about you guys, but that sure sounds like Forza Horizon 6 to us! While a sequel is yet to be confirmed by Playground, the job listing mentions pre-production work on an upcoming AAA title, which should count out Horizon 5 DLC development.

"Playground Games is looking for a Level Designer to join our Forza Horizon team. As a member of the design team on a AAA title, you’ll take responsibility for large sections of the game's level design, as well as mentoring and leading junior teammates. You will be a part of the level design team on our next AAA title, responsible for creating fun, playable gameplay experiences."

The listing is also very specific that the position is a part of the Forza Horizon team, which counts out the separate Fable team currently in place at Playground Games.

As for when we'll see Forza Horizon 6? The sequel is likely to be a ways off. Forza Horizon 5 took three years to develop, and it dropped in late 2021, so that'd put any upcoming Horizon sequel at 2024 at the very earliest.
