The Microsoft Store has leaked an upcoming Xbox Game Pass addition for May 2022 a little early, as This War of Mine: Final Cut is being listed on there with a release date of May 10th, available to install right now with Game Pass.

This is a remastered edition of the critically-acclaimed 2016 Xbox One game, in which you play as a group of civilians trying to survive in the midst of a war, "providing an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle."

The Final Cut version of This War of Mine features remastered visuals along with all updates and free expansions added in recent years, but keep in mind it only seems to be coming to Xbox Series X, Series S and PC with Game Pass — in other words, it seems Xbox One owners will have to miss out on a native version of The Final Cut.

There's also a Complete Edition of the game coming out on the same day featuring extra DLC, but this version isn't included with Xbox Game Pass - it's instead available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store for £22.49 / $26.49.

Here are some extra details about This War Of Mine: Final Cut:

The Remastered Final Cut version for Xbox Series X|S is finally here!

In This War Of Mine, you do not play as an elite soldier, rather as a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with a lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. During the day you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge for items that will help you stay alive.
