Sit Tight, Cyberpunk 2077 Might Be Coming To Xbox Game Pass Today

Update: Well, we've got some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that Cyberpunk 2077 seemingly isn't coming to Xbox Game Pass today as suggested by the Microsoft Store, but the good news is that if you don't own it yet, you can check out a free five-hour trial of the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S version right now.

The trial will be on the Xbox Store for a month — so you've got from now until March 15th to give it a go.

In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 is 50% off on Xbox for the next week, so you can at least pick it up at a discount.

Original story: Big potential news on the horizon! It looks like Cyberpunk 2077 might be added to today's announcement of Xbox Game Pass titles, as the game has been spotted with a Game Pass mention on the Microsoft Store.

As pointed out by multiple people, the store page for Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox mentions that the game is "cloud enabled with Game Pass Ultimate", which could theoretically be a mistake, but it's showing up in multiple regions.

In addition, an early tweet from the Dutch Xbox account has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077's free Xbox Series X and Series S upgrade will indeed be launching today, and will contain a free five-hour trial for players on next-gen systems.

We'll get official confirmation about all of this in just a few hours as part of CDPR's special Cyberpunk 2077 livestream.
