Medieval strategy game Crusader Kings 3 came to PC in 2020, where it was also a part of Game Pass for PC. In the time since, the developer has been hard at work translating the game to console, which isn't always easy for the genre. Well, we're happy to report they've been successful! Crusader Kings 3 comes to Xbox Game Pass on March 29th.
The console Game Pass launch stretches across both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. In a new trailer, the team stressed just how much work has gone into translating the game's controls for console and well, that checks out, given the gap since its PC launch.
This one should be worth checking out when it comes to Game Pass. Back at its initial PC launch, the game got very positive reviews, and it currently sits at a score of 91 on Metacritic.

@StylesT Not at all. It's a grand strategy game with RPG elements - you're a monarch and you're trying to preserve your line, manage your kingdom, assassinate your rivals, marry your sons/daughters to gain more land, go to war - if the last in your line is killed it's game over (if 3 is like 2). It's pretty unique.
I'm so stoked about this. Love Paradox's grand strategy games.
@StylesT Not really, no. Open conflict is bare bones, closer to Civ series. Like @Wanderhope said, this series focuses on forging relationships, espionage, etc. Big thing is it goes by generations. If you run out of heirs you lose. I found it much more complicated than Stellaris if that helps.
Great news. I hope more PC-centric games come console side. aside from city builders, I think I prefer to use a controller almost 100% of the time.
