If you're a big PC strategy fan, you've probably been keeping tabs on Crusader Kings 3 - the latest entry in the long-running series arrives on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow (September 1st), and it's getting some fantastic reviews.
The folks over at IGN have branded it a "masterpiece", giving it a 10/10 score and calling it "a new king of historical strategy." Likewise, VG247 has given it a 5/5, with reviewer Lauren Aitken describing it as her "Game of the Year so far":
"If you’re looking for a new strategy title with some RPG flair that will suck you in for 500 hours or more during this endless lockdown, then it should be on your wishlist already."
At the time of writing, Crusader Kings 3 has a Metacritic score of 91 based on 23 critic reviews, which comfortably makes it one of the highest-rated games of the year to date.
As we've mentioned, the game will be available for Xbox Game Pass for PC (and Ultimate) subscribers tomorrow, September 1st, and it's also available to pre-install now via the Microsoft Store.

Yet another great reason to buy gamepass. First the critically acclaimed RPG Wasteland 3 and now this. So many RPGs on gamepass now. 🙌
Game Pass on PC has been fire this year!
Game Pass is ridiculously awesome.
I somehow own Crusader Kings 2 on Steam (Humble Bundle maybe?) but have avoided playing it for years as I don't want to deal with the loss of sleep, health, job, family, friends.... Now I have to hide from CK3 too!
