Good news football fans. Not only is Football Manager 2022 launching on November 9 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, but it will also be available on day one in Xbox Game Pass!
Two versions of the game will be available. The traditional PC version and a console-specific iteration called Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition. If you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you'll get access to both copies, while standard Game Pass owners will be able to dive into the console version.
Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition allows you to master the managerial essentials from the comfort of your sofa. Available with Xbox Game Pass for Console, Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition takes full advantage of the Xbox Controller to make navigating from the tactics board to the touchline a breeze. As the architect of your club’s destiny, you’ll make the key decisions from where to send your scouts to search for new talent to bolster your squad to who makes it into your starting XI on Matchday.
More excitingly, you'll be able to use the power of Xbox Play Anywhere to transfer your progress between console and PC. Pretty neat, huh?

Woah super win for me, I bought it day 1 for Xbox last year
@Originut You can't add any packs to the console version.
Wonder if they will get this running in the cloud? Surely doesn’t need super bandwidth like racing games and fps
There’s no gameplay like PES or Fifa correct?
We call it soccer, but I enjoy this game more than our “football”
Just curious. Never really been exposed to it. I’ve seen it. But I’ve been hooked on Konami’s game since it was first released on N64 as ISS 64
Ooooooh that's very exciting
BIG get from the UK and European audience!
Hopefully they add official mouse support for the Xbox version this time around, rather than having to use the unofficial hack, then we're golden!
@Carck
Damn that reminds me of an actual Excel based football manager kinda game I played in the early 2000s on my PC at work.
The beauty of it being a spreadsheet was that people thought I was actually working... need to find that again!
