It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
August 2021's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few easy requirements by August 15th, you can top up your account by another 2000 - 2500 points (around £2 / $2).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Complete a Bing search on five separate days
- Complete 3 "daily sets"
- Earn 3 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
- Complete the Microsoft Rewards top 10 punch card (500 extra points)
- Complete a quiz for up to 50 extra points
The aforementioned Microsoft Rewards top 10 punch card (which gifts you an extra 500 points) is actually really easy to complete, and you can check out our MS Rewards 'top 10' guide for some hints and tips if you need them.
Additionally, you can earn an extra 300 points by logging into your Microsoft Rewards account on a browser and completing three very basic, search-based punch cards ('Savour The Summer', 'Celebrate the Summer Games' and 'Xbox Game Pass for PC'), and if you're buying anything in either the Xbox Summer Sale or the Xbox Summer Spotlight promotion, you could potentially get up to an extra 5000 points depending on how much you buy.

Does anyone actually do the 'spend £35 for 4000 points' (or similar)?
Quick maths says that by the time you complete the Monthly Bonus Round you can gain around 3000 points. 5 searches = 15, 3 daily sets = 100+, 3 achievements (if done on separate days) = 150, achievement from Top 10 (on another separate day) = 50. Plus 500 for Top 10 card + 2000 for completion.
Nooooooo! The rewards top 10 didn't track for me (all ticked but didn't give me the points.) This months bonus points need it to be completed. Just messaged MS support and got my fingers crossed.
I bought Ancestors on the sale, checked my progress with the sale reward and nothing.

It may work. If it really gives you 4000 points for a total spending of 35 quid would work. 4k points are worth roughly 30 quid. It's difficult but not impossible to make 5k points a month to get back the 5 pound left. I'll try it.
@Sunanootoko 4000 points are not worth £30 at all. They're worth around £4. Technically not even that given that 5850 = £5 voucher.

Oh sheit. I don't know what happened to me, guess I just got over exited about a possible exploit and screwed up the numbers. I apologize.
But! I've just found a real exploit that I would like to share! Extra points coming if you have a foreign SIM card.
So I have two SIM card on my phone: UK's one and an Italian. I'm living in UK. When I use my WiFi at home an try to go to the Microsoft's reward I'm prompt to the UK page, I do my stuff, bing research , monthly and daily stuff etc.
But if I switch off the WiFi and just use the data connection of my Italian SIM, all the daily, weekly and monthly stuff are back because the network brings me to the Italian page were all the challenges are reset, but the points are brought over the accounts and shared. It won't work with bing research but it's still extra point if you got a foreign SIM.

Yes this particular reward has to be completed by the 15th.
What I was talking with @ResoluteCustoms is that he gave me the idea to use Vpn every day to change country and get like a ***** ton of points every day when you change country since the profile is shared. Tried, it works. Then went to Reddit and everyone said to don't keep on doing it since you'll get banned. So I stopped as I have 100k+ legit made and don't want to lose them. But if you're low on points you may want to give it a go.
