Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles consistently keeps surprising us with how good it looks. After a slight disappointment with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, this truly looks like a great adaptation of the hit anime by CyberConnect2. While the developer is known for creating anime fighters, this latest trailer highlights that it's not all smashing demons around.

While not massively long, it does show some explorative elements in the game as the Tsuzumi Mansion from the anime is explored. Previous trailers have also touched upon this, but this is one of the most definitive insights so far. It's still not clear how much of the game will be representative of these moments, or how much you'll be able to do, but it seems to be carrying on from the blend of exploration and combat seen in the developer's past titles such as the Naruto series.

But of course, it wouldn't be a Demon Slayer trailer without some action, and the latter half of the gameplay trailer delivers. It's fast, frantic, and gives players a look at the full 3D space they'll be able to use as their combat sandbox. Along with fighting demons, it looks as though you'll also have to dodge a variety of environmental hazards, upping the ante for each fight.

Demon Slayer looks absolutely stunning, more so than any of the developer's previous works, and as massive fans of the anime we can't wait to see more. Much like the trailer earlier this week, this latest example perfectly encapsulates the show in its art style and looks to be the perfect compliment for any fans out there.
