Microsoft Flight Simulator has just received its fifth free world update ahead of its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S release on July 27, and this latest update heads to the Nordic skies of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

These countries are getting improvements in detail of broad swaths of landscapes, enhancements to regional architecture, improved data for 100 airports and 77 carefully selected points of interest. Five bush trips and landing challenges are also being added - one for each country. You can check out the breathtaking trailer above!

The first four updates were focused on Japan, the USA, the UK and Ireland and Western Europe, and all of these free additions will be available to players in the console version of the game when it arrives on Xbox Game Pass next month.

World Update V: The Nordics is available FREE to all Microsoft Flight Simulator users. Be sure your simulator is up to date first, then visit the Marketplace to download the Nordic Countries Bundle, and get ready to immerse yourself in this magnificent part of the world!
