We've got a new Hot Wheels game arriving on Xbox this September in the form of Hot Wheels Unleashed, and developer Milestone has now unveiled the very look at gameplay for the racer in the form of a Gameplay Trailer.
The couple of minutes of footage give us a good idea of what to expect in terms of the visuals, track design and handling model, and based on what we're seeing so far, it's looking pretty fun! Milestone is no stranger to making racing games either, having most recently developed MotoGP 21 and Monster Energy Supercross 4.
Hot Wheels Unleashed is now available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store if you want to get a head start on the competition, with optional Collector's and Ultimate Stunt Editions on offer with extra vehicles and customisation items.
The first official Hot Wheels Unleashed Gameplay Trailer is out! Discover how to race in a dark, rusty and vintage Garage, and stay tuned, because this is just the first environment unveiled.

Looks awesome and I can't wait to get this to play with my 3 year old who is obsessed with cars and Hot Wheels!
Looks cool but not $60 cool. Maybe $30
I. Want. This. Game.
I like Milestone. When AAA devs are too busy making "Sim-cade" racers instead of proper arcade racers, Milestone's Gravel was a breath of fresh air - it actually felt like a proper Sega Rally. And it looked pretty great!
They may be a AA developer, but I'm interested in their racing games now; I'm quite looking forward to Test Drive Unlimited 3: Solar Crown and interested in this too. The driving model and drift model here actually look pretty nice and proper arcadey... though I wish it had more crazy stunt stuff. The gold standard for flippin' and spinnin' is, I dunno, like Rush 2049, Stunt Race 64 or Rumble Racing or something and I wish modern games would try to get that crazy.
It's weird that the background/skybox is so dank though. I get it, it's a basement or a garage or something, but c'mon. Who's playing with Hot Wheels in a torture dungeon? Locations should be set in a bright, vibrant bedroom or the backyard. There's promise here. Good on Milestone.
