Biomutant has the potential to be a surprise hit this year. We're only a few weeks away from its release, and THQ Nordic is ramping up the marketing for the game. The latest trailer focuses on the game's world, and honestly, it's gorgeous.
Up until now, a lot of Biomutant's footage has focused on the elaborate and downright insane combat that you'll be partaking in. But this latest look slows things down, takes in the sights, and shows us some stunning landscapes and beautiful vistas we want to live in.
The game's Twitter account also revealed that all this footage was captured fully in-game. That includes the music, sound effects, and gameplay. In a world of remakes and sequels, we're really looking forward to this one.
We don't have long to wait until the game launches on May 25, but Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners may have to wait a little longer for any enhancements, if any. While there's no official word, the team has hinted that some upgrades could be made possible in the future. With how wonderful this looks already, we can only imagine what the next-gen hardware could truly do for it.

Looks pretty. Hopefully it plays just as good as it looks.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that was a PC Build of the game.
This game looks like a perfect fit for Dolby Atmos too, anyone know if it's supported?
Hope it gets a Series X upgrade. Then, I seriously consider buying it (provided the favourable reviews).
Between this and Tales of Arise' new videos, it's a great week for trailers showing off amazing looking RPG-environments
I'm very much pulling for this one. I love promising new IP with ambition, and action-RPGs with good melee combat, so I really hope this is good. SINCE it's a new IP though, I really feel it's important to wait for some positive pre-launch previews/launch week impressions/reviews though. Since it went totally quiet during its lengthy delay, AND they didn't add any new SKUs to push it out onto, that strikes me a good sign they actually have been putting in the work to get this right on XB1/PS4/PC, but it's still not a good idea to pre-order it or anything... at least for me. Definitely crossing my fingers though. C'mon Experiment 101; knock this outta the park!
