The Outer Worlds' second DLC, Murder on Eridanos, launches on March 17 for Xbox One and PC, Obsidian Entertainment has announced.

Get ready to solve a murder mystery, as you travel to the brand-new world of floating islands known as Eridanos. Here you'll get to put your detective hat on and see what's going on after the murder of a local celebrity. Along with a brand new story, new weapons and customisation options will also be added.

"Venture to the skies of Eridanos and unravel the grandest murder mystery in the Halcyon colony! Everyone is a suspect in this peculiar whodunit after Rizzo’s hired spokesperson, the famous Halcyon Helen, winds up dead ahead of the release of the brand-new Spectrum Brown Vodka. Alongside your companions, travel across the floating islands of Eridanos and piece together clues using the Discrepancy Amplifier, a new gadget that highlights otherwise unseen hints. There’s more to this mystery than meets the eye, and it’s up to you (and your crew, if you choose) to solve the case."

This marks the second and final expansion for The Outer Worlds, and it will be available to purchase individually, or as part of the season pass. An Xbox Series X patch has also previously been confirmed, but there's still no word on when it will be available. Hopefully very soon, though!
