Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division 2 received an Xbox Series X patch this time last week, increasing the game's framerate to 60fps at 4K, and both fans and critics have been highly praising the upgrade thus far.

We've noticed numerous players taking to the likes of Twitter and Reddit to share how much they're enjoying the next-gen patch, with some even exclaiming that it's almost like playing a brand-new game.

"I installed it today to check out the update. I see some people saying that it's just a 4k/60fps patch, but it really makes an absolutely massive difference. The lighting, etc also seems to be a lot better and it looks great in HDR. I didn't really enjoy playing it on the One X because of the 30fps, it felt sluggish to me. I can't get over how well the game feels now."

Furthermore, Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the upgrade (as seen in the video above), stating that the experience is "excellent", and due to some mysterious PS5 graphical drawbacks, the Xbox Series X is quite easily the best way to play Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on console... at least for the time being.

If you're interested in trying it for yourself, The Division 2 is currently on sale for the next week at a whopping 70% off on the Microsoft Store, making it just £7.49 / $8.99 to grab for your collection.

And if you're still on the fence, the game even has a free trial on the Store as well!
