MLB The Show 20

If you're a baseball fan, this week's announcement of MLB The Show 21 for Xbox has been a long time coming, with the Sony developed series previously remaining exclusive to PlayStation for the past 15 years.

In that time, Xbox has been treated to very few baseball games, primarily in the form of the arcade style R.B.I. Baseball franchise and the superb Super Mega Baseball series, both of which have favoured a non-realistic approach.

There are a few caveats involved with pre-ordering MLB The Show 21 on Xbox for now though, primarily due to Smart Delivery not being included with the standard versions, and no real feature announcements having been made as of yet, with those set to arrive in March ahead of the game's April 20th release.

"Experience faster, deeper, and more intense moment-to-moment action on the field, with a variety of game modes for all you rookie players and returning seasoned vets. Lead your ballplayer to Road to the Show and Diamond Dynasty glory as a two-way star, and enjoy updates to Franchise and March to October modes, empowering you to make better decisions for the future of your club. And for the first time ever, face your friends on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 with cross-platform play!"

So, with all of that said, has this week's announcement convinced you to buy MLB The Show 21 without even a second's thought, or are you going to hold off and wait to see what it brings? Let us know down below.
