If you're a baseball fan, this week's announcement of MLB The Show 21 for Xbox has been a long time coming, with the Sony developed series previously remaining exclusive to PlayStation for the past 15 years.
In that time, Xbox has been treated to very few baseball games, primarily in the form of the arcade style R.B.I. Baseball franchise and the superb Super Mega Baseball series, both of which have favoured a non-realistic approach.
There are a few caveats involved with pre-ordering MLB The Show 21 on Xbox for now though, primarily due to Smart Delivery not being included with the standard versions, and no real feature announcements having been made as of yet, with those set to arrive in March ahead of the game's April 20th release.

Baseball is not my cup of tea, So no..
Absolutely buying it. My brothers were never tempted away from Xbox by anything but the show, so now they it's coming to Xbox, they're locked in for good with. Can't wait to have it on Xbox and never have to have that 'grass is greener' convo again lmao
Getting it day one but for PS5.
I plan on picking it up if only for the novelty of playing a first-party PlayStation game on my Xbox, but I'll wait for a price drop. $70 is pretty steep.
I refuse to pay 69.99 for the series X version. I will wait for a sale.

I have no prior experience with baseball games and I rarely play sports games, but every now and then one will grab me and refuse to let go, so never say never.
HUGE gap filling in the Xbox library!! Not sure what Sony was thinking here but a big addition to the Xbox library. After all, RBI blows lol

..watching a perfect game, is watching two guys play catch for two hours. With that out of the way, nope.
At first I was like no. Paying $70 dollars for a game, I wasn't haven't it. But I was thinking about it the wrong way. The question is will you pay a extra $10 to have a Sony -first party- game on your Xbox. Suddenly it don't seem that bad.
I'll buy it. They have all been great on PS4.
I don't actually play sports games, but know people that do. I know people that only bought a PS4 exclusively to play The Show, and know they will just get the XBox version going forward. So, voted "definitively" on their behalf.
Brilliant franchise but think I'll stick with the 2020 PS4 version for another year.
I am. Always get it on the PS4, but this year I have the next gen in the Xbox. I have a goodly amount of Rewards built up, so Microsoft has paid me to play games and I will treat myself to The Show on Xbox!
I'm a big baseball fan but I have never really liked the show games. It's unfortunate that it is the only baseball game in town. I try it every 2 or 3 years on Playstation and was again not impressed by 2020's version. I will probably try it on xbox too but this is a franchise I wont pay more than $20 for.
