On Xbox Series X|S, backwards compatible titles load faster than ever. Earlier this week, for example, we saw how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt skips entire loading screens whenever fast travel is used.
Now, we've got yet another look at just how quick load times are on Microsoft's next-generation system, with the Xbox 360 title, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. As noted by Twitter user FreakinClever, this game "loads so fast", it is "impossible" to even see the L.O.G. load screens.
Rare responded to this brief clip, joking how it would tweet all of these screens players could no longer see.
The improved load times on Xbox Series X|S is all thanks to the SSD. Just yesterday, it was also discovered how a lot of older third-party titles such as Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter: World actually load faster on the Xbox Series X than the PlayStation 5.

At least we can get the game over with quicker
Xbox doesn't have amazing family games like Knack. This is the best the worse SSD console can offer.
I think Xbox is winning good news category so far, it's on my list to buy next year.
Shame it doesn't load fast enough to skip the entire game
Let’s get a new Banjo Kazooie game on Series X.
@carlos82
I guess that game is really bad?
@Don The game isn't bad, it's just not what people wanted as a Banjo-Kazooie game. I played through it in its entirety and had a blast, but yeah it's definitely not a Banjo-Kazooie game. If you keep your expectations leveled then you might enjoy it.
@LtSarge
That’s good to know. I will try out this game once I get through a few of the ones I’m currently playing. I still have to finish Banjo-Tooie since picking it up 20 years ago at launch lol.
I think I'm one of the rare few that had a lot of fun with this game.
Saw this on Twitter and had a good laugh. The jokes on that load screen were pretty funny, though.
I'm so ready for Series X..
@Dijita pun intended?
@LtSarge I agree. Of course, as a platformer is somewhat disappointing but I had fun like I rarely do trying to improve my own unique vehicles in order to beat all the challenges.
@StuOhQ Ha! Not exactly, but good catch.
