We've been hearing so many rumours about an apparent Mass Effect Trilogy remaster over the past few months, and now the game has been rated by the The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea (thanks Gematsu).
As recently rumoured, it looks set to be called Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and according to VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb, it'll serve as a remaster of the three titles with their DLC content included.
The rating doesn't give anything away, so we'll have to wait a little longer for concrete details, but Grubb recently suggested the game had been delayed from a planned October 2020 release to early 2021.

Can't wait for this to come out, Never played Mass Effect before so i'm pretty hyped about getting a trilogy on 1 disc..
Great news! I do wonder if it'll be part of EA Play (and thus on Game Pass) once it launches. Probably too much to hope for.

@gollumb82 I wouldn't get your hopes up for this! EA has never launched a new game into EA Play as far as I'm aware.

Yes, I know that's a big ask. Still, I'm eager to hear more. Especially if it's just a bump in resolution and better textures (which remasters usually are). I reckon It'll be worth it just for the DLC alone.

As a matter of fact, I am patient We've been waiting so long for ME Trilogy that I can wait another year or so. When it launches I'll probably be too busy discovering and playing Game Pass gems that I would have otherwise missed.

@gollumb82 Same here. There are many games in my backlog and on Game Pass but the Mass Effect trilogy is a must-buy for newcomers as me.
This thing is a secret kept about as well as Series S.....
I'm curious what they'll do with the first game. That was in many ways the best game, but it has aged so poorly and felt unpolished even when it was new. I played on PC and can't imagine how it played on console with a controller...it seemed so mouse-based.
Only the first game needed to be updated & that is even arguable. However, this series remaster is the worst kept secret in gaming and......
For the love of god, EA.....just announce the thing already!! Lol.
All I want is for it to be 4K 60fps and Iām good.
