Following this week's mass of reveals and announcements for the Xbox Series S and X, Microsoft has provided some very select YouTube influencers and journalists with access to the consoles... well, at least in prototype form!
You can see the two systems up close in the Unbox Therapy video above, and you'll also find some size comparison images between various consoles (including the PS4 and Nintendo Switch) below:
There's not much new information to go on here, but we do at least have some more details about the back of the Xbox Series S - as noted by The Verge, it features two USB ports, an HDMI 2.1 out, an Ethernet port, the same Xbox Storage Expansion Slot as the Xbox Series X, and the standard power port.
Furthermore, all of those ports feature raised Braille bumps for added accessibility. Neat addition!
How do you feel about the size of these consoles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Amazing how tiny the S is with all that juice inside! Sending out dummy boxes was a really good idea!
Microsoft continuing to dominate the media, it’s great to see dummy units of both consoles compared to loads of other machines..
Meanwhile tumbleweeds are STILL blowing across the front of Sony HQ.... Sony’s marketing is great, ignore everyone and give them the silent treatment, yay!
I'd rather see some actual XSS/XSX true gameplay than anything else Microsoft have shown at this point
Haters gonna still hate but everything will be ultimately revealed crystal clear later this year when Digitalfoundry shows some next-gen Cyberpunk gameplay comparison finally. 🔥
Next months will be all about Cyberpunk and Ubisoft titles. Thanks to Microsoft, they are making a high end next-gen console in a very affordable price segment for everyone who’s going to want to play huge dense open world resource-intensive titles like Cyberpunk. Add the excellent Gamepass service as a cherry on top.
Have you noticed that Series S is half the size of PS4?
Can't believe how small the Series S is, Pretty impressive by microsoft to make a next gen system that small.
@Z3u5000
I completely agree.
@S1ayeR74 Looks like folks are already out, doing some major damage control. They should thank WindowsCentral and Brad Sams.
PlayStation 5 Price Tag Reportedly Slashed by Sony to Match up With Xbox Series X and S

I prefer the series x standing. Don’t like the look of it lying flat. The series s looks better standing.
@Z3u5000 It must feel nice having employers that endanger your business for a minute of internet glory!
@Xiovanni Ugly? It's a box, simple but not ugly. Now, the PS5 is ugly and a monstrosity at that size.
@Xiovanni The digital edition looks a bit better because it's symmetrical but the disc version looks like a humped praying mantis to me! That added hump for the disc drive looks cheap like an afterthought after they decided not to ditch physical completely.
@Z3u5000 I have a suspicion it’s still going to cost more. We shall see though. But IF this leak is true which I doubt, then it would mean that either the PS5 is very expensive to make, or Sony wanted to generate some profit from it.
