Activision has announced that the Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time demo will made available next week on September 16th, but it'll only be accessible for those who have pre-ordered the game digitally.
The demo will feature two levels that have been showcased by developer Toys for Bob in recent weeks - Snow Way Out and Dino Dash - and you'll also be able to play as Dr. Neo Cortex in an alternate timeline of Snow Way Out.
Here's what Paul Yan, co-studio Head at Toys For Bob had to say about the demo (thanks GameReactor):
"Even though we're still a number of weeks out from the official launch, we can't wait for fans to experience the challenge, fun and love we've poured into this game, so we're really happy to offer them early access to part of the game through a special demo."
If you don't want to pre-order Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, you'll still be able to get your hands on it in just a few weeks, with the game set to launch for Xbox One on October 2nd. Not long to go now!

I think we should stop calling these demos and more Early Access. A demo is short for a demonstration which is done before a purchase. Locking a "demo" behind a purchase by the very act makes it not a demo. Though publishers like us to think so, we should stop regurgitating their nonsense and call it as it is. Early access, preview... Whatever. It's certainly not a demo.
I'll wail for it to come out on release date, I've still gotta finish Crash 3 on the N'sane trilogy before i get Crash 4..
I don't support this practice at all. And as @pip_muzz correctly said this isn't a demo it is early access.
Yep, a demo linked to a purchase is a demo in name only.
