Can't wait, the collection on PC (Steam) especially Halo 2 and 3, has been great.
I tried Reach when it came to Game Pass but the guns felt really weird like they had no heft to them. I might give the games another go once they all land on PC.
Our group just quickly blasted through this and Halo 3 campaign again on xbox for some of the seasonal challenges. We just loved every moment.
ODST is still my favourite Halo story.
@nessisonett You're a biologically and technologically enhanced super soldier. If anything the guns have too much weight and recoil.
@InterceptorAlpha It’s more that every gun felt like a pea shooter. Enemies barely flinch and just keel over after you hit them a bit. At least in games like DOOM, the guns feel like you’re actually shooting them. Destiny has great gunplay as well, despite the GaaS nonsense.
Great news !
By the way, do we know if the Masterchief Collection will be updated for the Series X ?
@nessisonett That is kind of the point though. Humanity is getting their asses kicked because they're using ancient tech compared to the Covenant. Hell, to win one engabenemtn against one ship, humanity sacrificed a ton of hospital ships to take the blows another came around and used one of the only two useful weapons humans had against ships. The MAC. And the only reason it even worked was because it is a coil gun that runs near the length of the entire ship. And even then you have to turn the whole ship to aim it. The other weapon that worked were nukes. But those would only work if detonated inside a ship's shield. By the time you finish Reach you get a good example of how screwed humanity is.
I can't agree with the Destiny bit. They're all scifi pew pews with godawful sound effects and bounce around like they're having a seizure. A huge disappointment. Especially given all of Bungies's making if videos that shows them working with real firearms. Should definitely know they don't bounce around like they're mounded like a spring.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I can only play this if I install it in C: ... If I install in any other drive the game doesn't recognize the licences of each game...
