It's been almost a year now since publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA announced dark psychological thriller Martha is Dead, but it's also now confirmed that it's coming to Xbox Series X.
The game is said to combine disturbing and dreamlike tones with a mix of history, superstition and psychological distress, and is set amid the brutality of the second world war in Tuscany, 1944.
Courtesy of IGN, here's a look at 14 minutes of it in action:
Martha is Dead is currently scheduled for a 2021 launch, but has no exact release date as of yet.
Set in Tuscany in 1944 amid the brutality of the second world war as the conflict intensifies between Germany, its Axis power allies and the Allied forces of the United States, United Kingdom and its empire, the body of a woman has been found, drowned and desecrated at the side of a lake. Martha is dead, and now her twin sister must deal with the fallout from her murder, the acute trauma of loss, all whilst the horror of war draws ever closer.

Gamepass anyone?
I love horror games, so I may be checking this out.
Cool. This, The Medium, and Tormented Souls all look interesting. Resident Evil is back in business, too.
Now if he we could just get a proper Silent Hill game and convince Nintendo to revive Fatal Frame with a Switch release.
