Gears developer The Coalition has a new studio head in the form of Mike Crump. The former director of operations seemingly confirmed this via his LinkedIn page back in May, which was recently spotted by Twitter user Klobrille.
The new studio head takes over from former boss Rod Fergusson, who left The Coalition in February to join Blizzard. Crump has been part of the company since its formation in 2010, and has overseen the likes of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 4, Gears 5 and Gears Tactics as director of operations in recent years.
Neither the company nor Crump have commented officially on his new role as of yet.

Well that's three great games he's overseen (haven't played tactics so can't pass judgement). I'm sure gears 6 will be just as awesome
Glad to hear they promoted from in house here. He’s been part of four great games already. Why rock the boat?
It feels like this is a good move imo. Comforting knowing gears is in experienced hands at least.
We can breathe a sigh of relief, then. 😅
