EA revealed back in April that Battlefield V would be getting its final major content update this summer, and it's now available for download on Xbox One. The update adds two new maps (the all-new Al Marj Encampment and redesigned Provence), nine new weapons, six new vehicles, five new gadgets, and three new types of grenades.
Furthermore, players who download and login to Battlefield V over the next few weeks will receive the update's new weapons, gadgets, and grenades and more as instant unlock login rewards.
The new update is a 8.8GB file size on Xbox One, and is ready to play right now. Full Update Notes are available over at the official website, including gameplay improvements and fixes.
Will you be diving into Battlefield V's summer update later today? Let us know in the comments.

Playing the new update right now and enjoying the new maps, weapons and vehicles. It’s a shame many have been writing it off since it’s release but I’ve really enjoyed in the WWII setting but can’t wait for the modern setting in the next BF series.
