This news is coming via the German ratings authority USK, who have today certified the PC horror title Pineview Drive for an Xbox One release.
As far as we're aware, the game hasn't been confirmed as coming to the platform until now, and there's very little information available regarding the port. As in, there isn't any information available regarding the port other than we know that the game will at some point launch on Xbox One.
The game revolves around an abandoned mansion on Pineview Drive. Linda, your character's wife, disappeared during a visit to the mansion some 20 years ago, but now you're back to try to find some answers. Spread across 30 in-game days, the game features a mechanic that "watches" your actions to see if you're getting scared, depleting your health if you do. We're intrigued.
Pineview Drive has been available on PC since 2014 and has picked up some pretty middling reviews, but maybe the port and a bit of optimization might be the key to improving those numbers. We'll find out when it launches on Xbox One in the future.

Okay so the game plays based on your scare factor...so on a 2nd playthrough and you know what's happening, won't that greatly take away the experience? If so, that means this game's replayability would be super low
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi To be fair, the same could be said of any adventure or horror game though. If you know what's coming, then generally the adrenaline isn't pumping as much. The only difference here is that it ties it into your player's health. Again though, you're less likely to die in any game if you know what's coming
@SuperKMx Except Alien Isolation. The randomness of the alien always makes that game a stressful and fun experience, eben after repeated playthroughs. That's why I don't like Outlast, the enemies were stupid and heavily scripted
I love that horror games are getting a bit of a revival these days. It's one of my favorite genres.
With that being said, if this game got middling reviews on PC, I doubt the Xbox One will be much better.
@KelticDevil
Yeah, that's exactly why I'm hesitant about this. I'm normally ALL about horror games, but the lukewarm reviews that this one got worry me a bit.
