This is a thread for Xbox 360 Game recommendations(Duh)
I just got a 360 so I was wondering what games to get.

I own and Highly recommend
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

especially if you are a retro game fan.

Can't let you BREW that Starfox!

xbox-only games? Or multiplatform aswell?

I'm at the end of Fable II at the moment, and it's worth a go if you can pick it up cheaply. The combat is a bit clunky but I like the good/evil thing, so it's worth a pop.

I'd also recommend The Orange Box, even if just for Portal, and Halo Reach of course.

the only game on 360 I've ever had interest in is Banjo and Kazooie. It's still one of the best 3d platformers out there.

@_jans multiplatform games are fine.

@King_Boo Are you referring to the original?

Portal 2. It's so awesomely good and on the Xbox you unlock avatar gear including a companion cube after you finish the game.

On XLBA, Trials HD is a must have. It's one of my favorite Xbox games in any format. I put so many hours into that game it's not funny. Get the DLC too. They are both great.

Also on XBLA, I recommend Laura Croft and the Guardian of Light. That's a really fun game. Skip the DLC add-ons for that one, though - they are pretty worthless, but the main game is really good.

Pinball FX 2 is also worth a download. The download is free, but the games are not. They are all DLC. You can probably stick to the newer stuff and be happy, but the older tables are pretty good too.

For Kinect, I can definitely recommend Kinect Sports. That game is a lot of fun.

Snoopy Flying Ace is a fun XBLA, WWI air combat game, although I get slaughtered in the online so I don't find that part of it too fun. If you're an uber-gamer, though, I imagine the online would be great. Wait for a sale on that and then pick it up. The campaign is short but fun and can be played co-op, including split-screen. Also a fun game to play split-screen with your kids with bots.

Xbox Live Indie game Miner Dig Deep is addictive, relaxing (except when you get bonked on the head with a boulder!) and fun. Highly recommended, especially for only 80 points ($1).

There's a start.

@Crunc Trials HD! How could I forget that?

Also, next week we're getting Sega Rally Online Arcade, which is one of the best things to happen to the world ever, I reckon.

Yep, not nuts and bolts, I don't even want to think about that game.

And you won't find me arguing with THAT! I am ALL about Sega Rally

If they'd make Daytona USA Online Arcade, I think I could die a happy man.

I'd recommend Halo Wars for strategy fans, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie for Adventure Fans, as well as Lara Croft: The Guardian of Light. Kinect Sports for Kinect, and Adventures (which comes with the Kinect).
