I´m really interested in kinect and the fitness games around it. And the non-fitness games as well. I think everybody knows that you can work a sweat from dance central and even kinect adventure. Not least your shape and biggest looser.
So i would love to hear your story's about your personal achievements irl. (and why not post a before and after picture if anyone had that much track of their progress) Here´s some progress of my own:
I have been hitting the gym for a long time but since January 1st i started doing Cardio using Kinect only, 3-5 times a week. I have been using all the kinectgames you can think of, to not get bored. I wasn't fat when i started but i needed to get rid of fat to get those abs. This are my result:
January 1st: chest: 101 Waist: 95 biceps 37 weight: 93.1 march 1st: chest: 101 Waist: 88 biceps: 38.5 weight: 85.5 So you´re not getting confused, this are in cm and kg measurements.
As you can see i´m happily surprised i could get bigger biceps and keep the chest size during my weight loss. I don´t think you can build any big muscles using kinect (if you´re not using dumbbells to everything) only, but you will get leaner if you´re putting the energy to it. I was thinking posting a picture but they all look gay haha. I´m 1.88 cm if anyone would like to know
That's great. I know I could get results too but I don't seem to have your drive! I keep meaning go play your shape and burn some calories but then I just do something else instead. I too quit the gym to save money and exercise using kinect and every time I do bother to do it I really feel the difference, especially with EA active 2 wow that's a serious serious workout lol.
The first time I used Biggest Loser. I felt sore for days, especially in my legs. I have been going to the gym on and off for a couple years. Currently its "off" but since I have created a profile and workout plan on Biggest Loser, I have been starting to go back. As well as drinking more water and eating more fruits interesting enough. I am more interested in slimming down and getting more toned, than packing on muscles. So Biggest Loser is definitely right up my alley. Hopefully I can stick with it.

soaduk, have EA patched EA Sports Active 2 for Kinect, yet? I had a review copy through and tested it out, and the body tracking was all over the shop, so I traded it for the PS3 edition. That version worked, but I'd much rather use it on Kinect.
I heard there was a patch being prepared back around Christmas, but don't know if they've sorted it yet.
