Well I finally got around to watching Xmen Days of Future Past and I loved it. I thought more of the older Xmen were going to be in it but that was ok. Looking forward to Age of Apocalypse now.

What did you think of the re-casting of Mystique? It seemed they used a body-suit or something on Jennifer Lawrence (as opposed to full body-paint) and in action scenes it was very evident. Great flik though! Surprised me as well.

Just watched all 3 series of the Vikings which was pretty good.
For a movie, just watched 'The sessions' about a guy with polio which starred two of my fav actors, William H Macy and Helen Hunt which was also pretty damned good.

@jairo_mc - isn't Orphan Black amazing? I love the first season?

It's fantastic! My girlfriend gave it to me last friday (Valentine's Day in Brazil) and I already watched most of it. It's pretty intriguing and the lead actress has some serious talent to play so many different characters.
I also just finished watching the finale of the 5th season of Game of Thrones and I'm really anxious about Season 6. It will also be great because the show reached the books so there's little chance that I'll have some plot spoiled.

Just finished up Orange Is The New Black season three which was awesome. Wasn't massively happy with the fact that they suddenly found themselves with about 12,000 unresolved stories around the penultimate episode, then made a bit of a ham-fisted effort to close some of them off before introducing more for the next season...but it was good nonetheless.

Just re-watched The West Wing, and am moving on to a re-watch of House of Cards next, I think...

@SuperKMx Your Netflix subscription is working overtime this week then I've watched the first episode of Orange but not got any further. Also only watched the first ep of House of Cards and same, not watched any more. Just not enough hours in the day with the kids and trying to play Xbox.

To be honest, given the way they left the last season of House of Cards, you might be better off holding fire until the fourth season goes live next year. It feels - for my money - like they planned out a story and then realised that they didn't have enough episodes left...so just left massive cliffhangers everywhere. And not necessarily in a good way. Still a top show, all the same.

If you haven't watched it yet, Scrotal Recall is a really great Netflix Original series

I'll have to give it a spin. Didn't really fancy it from the synopsis, but I'm always happy to take recommendations

I hated the name and the synopsis and the fact that it's British - but we tried it anyway and I really loved it. Let me know what you think

Top Gear on Sunday: Clarksons farewell before they let Chris Evans ruin it. After that, I think me and TV will have a "concious uncoupling"...

Just starting Game of Boners series 5. Apparently it gets quite bloody, who'd have thought?

Since I live in France and they dub everything I rarely (more like never) watch actual broadcasted tv - the few exceptions this year has been the Eurovision Song Contest and some football games. I get my TV fix from Netflix where I've just finished the Mentalist, the first season of Sense8 and now working my way through the new season of Orange is the New Black.

Despite having a reeeaaaaally slow start (due to the complexity of the characters and the length of the episodes, the show didn't really kick off until somewhere in the middle of the season), I'm kind of curious to see where Sense8 will go from here. The concept is interesting and the characters are not to bad, but I feel like I need a sparring partner as I'm failing to see the use in all of them. Have anyone else watched it?

Just started watching Nashville. For some obscure reason, Scottish people must have country music in their bones, I'm really enjoying it!

Finally got caught up on all of my WWE programs from last week, just in time for tonight's Raw.

Also watched Big Hero Six last night, much better then I thought it was going to be.

The series mainly follows the books and in general is very well done. There is a LOT of blood though and a fair amount of nookie.

I don't know much about game of thrones but one of my friends has shown me most of the death scenes. Also I have another friend who likes game of thrones and she sometimes will tell me how she can't believe so and so has died.

So I think I have a pretty good idea of who's still alive and who's not despite never watching an episode or reading any of the book.

Valkyrie 2, standing by.
