Microsoft has officially announced January 2022's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at four more games we'll be able to play at no extra charge with our Gold memberships next month.
In case you missed it, the games are Xbox One titles NeuroVoider and Aground, along with Xbox 360 (backwards compatible) games Radiant Silvergun and Space Invaders Infinity Gene.
The first games will be made available in a week's time, so we want to know how you feel about next month's selection, as well as which title you're most looking forward to below. Are we kicking off the year with a good batch?

Where's the option that says, "I'm not looking forward to any offering here"?
I get that these aren't the AAA games some people want but objectively this is a better month than usual
Even if they are of no interest to you that IS objectively better than a lot of crud we've had of late. If you have time give them a go, they might surprise you.
When next years PS+ titles are absolute bangers after many months of their "meh" lineups, that made me sorta believe that GwG would follow suit. Boy was I wrong.

To be honest they're an insult.
I won't complain thought as Game pass is fantastic and the games with gold are simply an added bonus (albeit not very good of late)
Honestly not downloaded more than a handful of games with gold this year and played even less. I guess I’m missing out to a degree.
It’s nice that they give you something and maybe someone finds value in them but I think I’ve downloaded 1 (Indiana Jones) in a year. I don’t even think about them to be honest.
I've only ever downloaded 3 gold games. Bleed 2, Little Nightmares and Injustice
I think this is a really cool selection. I've re-discovered 2D games recently and GWG is likely the only way I would download these. Radiant Silvergun looks great.

It's horrible, It needs to be shut down, if your going to release games like this than just don't release anything..
It sounds like as SHMUPS go, Radiant Silvergun has a good following, but seriously, 3 retro arcade SHMUPS and a 16.5-bit Minecraft clone is what I'd expect on Apple Arcade, not Xbox. We went from games like Assassin's Creed Syndicate to a couple of retro scrollers. Good retro games or not, that's kind of insulting.
GwG and PS+ need to pass the "NSO Test". Each game, they should ask, "Is this worse than what Nintendo is offering?" IF the answer is yes, they should start over....
These games don't look bad, I'd just rather spend a bit of money to get something that's currently on sale, that I actually have a drive to play.
Again, I think online play should go free, and GwG folded in to GP. These titles just don't feel like they add much value to the service.
If people are upset about getting Radiant Silvergun for free well I don't know what to say about that.
Infinity Gene is an absolute banger, as is Silvergun. Already own them but you'll get zero complaints from me. I love twin stick shooters so NeuroVoider is right up my street. Happy days!
Those people who expect AAA titles from GwG will be dissapointed. Not only this month, but every month. Face it, these games have been transfered to gamepass. GwG right now is a nice little bonus which offers great classic X360 games for free. I am actually quite happy with it.
@Axlroselm I totally agree, and just claim em to play later. It seems like it just is a bonus that was kinda shut down by GPU, and should never be expected to be AAA
All I'm saying: If you're not excited for Radiant Silvergun, then you don't know s*** about videogames.

@Axlroselm That's right, the big games are going to come to Game Pass. Games with Gold have become a bonus and it's quite nice because you own the Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are offered but it wouldn't surprise me if Games with Gold disappears next year.
I'm not fussed about the other two games, but two brilliant shmups pleases me! Always wanted to play Radiant Silvergun, widely regarded as one of the all time greats. I can only assume the people complaining aren't fans of classic arcade shooters! Me? I'm well happy with them.
@InterceptorAlpha Exactly this. I'm assuming most the voters have never heard it it, let alone played it. I can't wait!
Once again I'm happy enough with the 360 titles, but I'm rather meh over the Xone titles (and I already own Neurovoider which really didn't do anything for me). Apart from Radiant Silvergun, this is another middling selection imo.
