Tru Blu Games has confirmed that they'll be bringing Rugby League Live 2 - World Cup Edition to the Xbox 360 on November 21st.
Put together in time for the Rugby League World Cup 2013 (which will be held in England and Wales, if you didn't know), the game will contain a bunch of World Cup-specific content. Also, if you missed Rugby League Live 2 - which wasn't particularly readily available in stores - then this new version has you covered, as it packs in all of the content from the original release, as well.
New features include the 7 new World Cup stadia (on top of the 9 that were already in the game) and a stack of national teams, as well as an expanded 25-year career mode. Management is included too, with the game offering the ability to hire and fire coaching staff, negotiate contracts, and set training programs. On top of that the NRL, Super League, and Cooperative Championships are included, allowing you to play through domestic seasons in career mode. Andrew Voss and Phil 'Gus' Gould take on commentary duties, and up to 8 players (4 per team) can play online. Add all that to the ability to create teams and players from scratch, and the game could well bring you the full bone-crunching rugby league experience.
We'll see if we can't bring you a full review, and see how it does on the pitch.
