A little low energy, but a lot of solid games revealed (imo). I think it was a B+. Pretty neat that most of the games are getting released soon.
I liked it, many great games and a big surprise, Karateka.
Lots of trailers including gameplay, most games coming very soon or even today and some really nice looking stuff.
Over half was playthroughs as usual but overall a solid B or B+ from me
I’d give it a C. Wordless and Sea of Stars look great (and Vampire Survivors could be great fun co-op) and Karateka is a fantastic end to the show, but the rest didn’t do much for me. Karateka was the only surprise that really impressed me. I feel like it’s a totally niche release in the best possible way for me, personally. The actual presentation was fine though. My only gripe is that the majority of the games were “meh.” If all the titles announced were on Gamepass, I don’t think I’d even touch half of them, so I can’t go above a C, even if I liked the presentation.
I’m glad IGN took over running it so it wasn’t two hours of streamers and 30 minutes of content. I think it was well paced.
