'Assassin's Creed Red' was officially unveiled back in September 2022, but we're still waiting for a proper reveal from the folks over at Ubisoft following the tiny teaser trailer up above. Earlier this year we heard that a new trailer could be dropping in May before a gameplay deep dive during Ubisoft Forward, and now fresh details have emerged about AC Red's Ubi Forward showing.

Insider Gaming is reporting that it "can confirm that Assassin’s Creed Red will have its official gameplay reveal" during Ubisoft's E3-style showcase. The outlet says "it’s currently unclear" if a smaller trailer will drop beforehand — as per January's rumour — but it's a possibility ahead of the team's June showcase.

Insider Gaming's sources also expect press to go hands-on with the game during the week of Summer Game Fest, with the embargo for these impressions expected to lift on June 12th. Ubisoft Forward 2024 is currently scheduled for June 10th.

Elsewhere in this report, Insider Gaming discusses Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed slate, which happens to include lots of new franchise entries in the coming years. For now, this information isn't confirmed, but we only have a month or so until the team lays out its upcoming plans for real during Ubisoft Forward 2024.
