It's been well over a year since Ubisoft unveiled its Assassin's Creed roadmap - with the team's Feudal Japan-set title garnering the most attention at the time. Of course, we've seen Mirage release since then, but new details have now begun to surface about this Japan-themed AC title.

According to 'BunnyTheVillain' — a Ubisoft partner — Assassin's Creed Red is due out in November 2024, with an initial reveal set for this May. The influencer says this information comes from "a trusted source", who also claims that AC Red will be "the most enjoyable game in the franchise".

That last bit will be subjective of course, and this information is mere rumour at present - so do bear that in mind. The timeline seems about right though, given that 'Red' was next in Ubisoft's roadmap following the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage.

The rumour also mentions that Ubisoft plans to deliver its Assassin's Creed Red gameplay showcase this July, as part of a 'Ubisoft Forward' event. If this all comes to fruition, and that's a big if, we'd expect May's reveal to be a bit of a teaser for what's to come from AC Red later on in 2024.
