So much more could have been achieved with this in terms of remaster (to bring it in line with the Xbox 360 remake) but it's still great to have it on Xbox One. My children (18 and 12) love playing local multiplayer with me. We had a few sessions over Christmas and had a great time.
I reckon that it'll be an announcement made by Eon / Danjaq rather than being tied to any one console, as part of them marking 60 years of Bond. Microsoft and Nintendo will then do an announcement afterwards (because part of the deal probably involves having the game available on both their consoles). Hopefully Nintendo will have the remaster on Switch as a dedicated release and not just have the original as part of the NSO Expansion Pass. When? Well obviously the sooner the better for me but I thought earlier "ooh, I wonder if they'll use the release date for Dr. No as their marker for when it all kicks off?" ... but that isn't until October urgh.
