Re: Xbox Is Officially 'Reevaluating' What To Do About Exclusivity

fbnaulin

The question is how relevant is Halo, Gears, Forza, or Fable, to a whole new generation of gamers, or people who doesn't have a long history of purchases, playing time, and friends in other platforms.

Top selling Xbox games in PlayStation store are the most clear example that Phil was right: none game, no matter how good it is, will move people to Xbox.

So, if Asha wants exclusives again, that have to be accompanied by a more huge and integral plan.

Re: Xbox Achievements Are Getting A 'Refresh' With Multiple New Improvements

@themightyant In the past I didn't care about achievements, testing random games for a 30-40 minutes, or letting parents launch whatever in my Xbox profile at home.

At some point I became a 'completionist', and avid user of TrueAchievements. In that site you can see your overall completion rate, which it's unlocked vs locked cheevos of every game you have touched.

I'd like to remove some undesired titles from that pool, games I don't plan to play, having a ratio more representative of my current habits. But, I can live with the notion that I can delete them, and that's the way things are.

Re: Talking Point: You're The New Head Of Xbox, What Do You Do Now?

I’m clueless about how to manage Xbox. I don’t have data to support my decisions.

Things I’d like to see (just dreaming):

  • Keep supporting console users with releases, UI improvements, retail availability, and service accessibility.
  • Free or low cost online.
  • No more ads.
  • Full cross saving across PlayStation, Steam, Nintendo.
  • More control over Achievements: delete, export / import from other platforms, platinum style badge, better profiles and visibility.
  • Return policy for never played games.
  • Nihon Falcon games on Xbox. And more JPRGs in general.
  • Better and real sales, off course.

Re: Xbox's Sarah Bond Issues Statement On Her Departure From Microsoft

Nutella was angry because Bond couldn’t transform every device (PC, TV, and phones) into an “Xbox”, and they made fools of themselves with THIS IS AN XBOX campaign.

So, enter Shawarma, the Instacart, global platforms, and Copilot champion to achieve Nutella’s dream.

At this point, Phil is like the old guard, along names like Reggie, or Layden; from an era rapidly disappearing.

Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Game Awards 2025?

I was playing Xbox. Gladly, I don't have to watch that insufferable show, and only read news about games that interested me, in this case two: Mega Man: Dual Override, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

Maybe, I'll play them in 5 years after released, and sold for a rational price.
