I think this is the best way for Microsoft to turn a profit while offering a little extra. I'll admit i haven't bought a first party game since... gears of War 4 i guess. But I did get the upgrade versions of starfield, for example, and forza 6. Feels like I'm supporting the developers a bit more, rather than paying next to nothing to play on game pass. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I'll only get it if it offers expansion packs though. Passing on the gears one this time, but I'll still play the hell out of it
