My initial focus for this program is Xbox Play Anywhere titles so I can play my console games on my gaming laptop and still on the console! I already was mostly physical with my library, but I’m hunting out more physical games now that this is rolling out!
While digital sales are enticing, I make the effort to find a disc or cartridge copy of all my game purchases. Physical purchases require more effort to locate, travel to, and purchase. Because of the extra effort and enjoyment, I also am more likely to actually play through the games. And of course the whole physical ownership issue, that I sincerely hope Xbox is going to capitalize on after Sony’s blunder.
