We've got nothing but praise for the way Xbox has handheld its FanFest events in 2026 — it's been great to see them taking place around the world over the past few months — and the final stop has just been announced for Seattle.

This one is particularly notable, as not only is it where Xbox HQ is located, but it's also happening on November 12th, 2026. This falls during the week of Xbox's 25th anniversary, and you better believe that's not a coincidence!

Here's what Xbox has to say about this:

"As we get ready to celebrate 25 years of XBOX on November 15, we’re bringing fans together in the city where it all began for a special anniversary week celebration to celebrate the games, people and memories that have shaped 25 years of XBOX."

"Fans joining us at MoPOP can expect a celebration of XBOX past, present and future, with hands on gameplay, XBOX history and artifacts, opportunities to connect with the people behind the games and fellow players, XBOX trivia, collectibles. fan activities, an XBOX Gear pop-up shop and plenty of surprises along the way."

If you want to attend the Seattle Xbox FanFest event, you can enter the sweepstakes by going to a special form on the Xbox website and registering your interest. There's also an XBOX FanFest Green Ticket Trip Sweepstakes this time around, where one lucky winner (and their guest) will actually be flown out to Seattle for the occasion.

Obviously there's a lot of speculation that Xbox might have a big announcement or two to share at the Xbox FanFest in Seattle, but who knows whether they've got something else planned for the same week - maybe some kind of 25th anniversary showcase? Whatever happens, it's still worth keeping an eye on this Seattle event.

We'll leave you with our recent impressions of the London FanFest - we thought it was really fantastic!
