Seven New Xbox Games Are Out Today, Including A Call Of Duty Game Pass Release (September 8) 1

We're back with another daily roundup of all the games launching today, and, of course, the latest drop from September's Xbox Game Pass lineup!

We've got seven games launching today, with the addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for most tiers of XGP. Of the newbies, Mewgenics and Halloween are the most notable, with the former having a fantastic run on PC this year.

So, here's what launching on Xbox today (September 8):

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - (Xbox Game Pass) Ultimate, PC, Premium

Black Ops Cold War, the direct sequel to Call of Duty®: Black Ops, will drop fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. Nothing is ever as it seems in a gripping single-player Campaign, where players will come face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths, as they battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more.

Mewgenics

Build the ultimate cat army through tactical breeding and send them into deep, challenging turn-based adventures. Draft abilities, collect items, and manipulate genetics across generations in this roguelike tactics game from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh.

Halloween: The Game

It’s Halloween night, 1978, the unsuspecting families of the quiet suburban town of Haddonfield are making holiday preparations, and evil has made its way home. Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
