Xbox Announces Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast, Following Massive Reveal At Last Year's Event

We've got another Xbox showcase to look forward to in the near future! In addition to the Gamescom festivities that Xbox is hosting in August, we now know Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast will take place on September 17th.

This was announced by Xbox Japan earlier today, along with sweepstakes signups for the Xbox FanFest event that will be happening in Tokyo on the same date. The start time of the broadcast will be 7pm JST, which translates to 5am PT / 8am ET / 11am BST on September 17th.

Xbox's Tokyo Game Show broadcast has legitimately been one of our highlights of the year since Pure Xbox restarted back in 2020, treating us to some amazing announcements over the years including Deathloop's Xbox reveal, an absolute ton of Game Pass drops, and the mammoth unveiling of Forza Horizon 6 at last year's event!

While we're not expecting anything on the levels of a Forza Horizon reveal at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast, it should still be a show worth checking out on September 17th, and we'll have all the coverage for you here as always.

Check back in with us on the date, and you'll be able to watch the showcase live with other Pure Xbox readers, followed by a roundup of all the reveals. For now, we'll leave you with a look at last year's version of the show below.
