Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass, But In Limited Form (July 2)

Today marks the first day of Xbox Game Pass additions in July, although it's not your typical lineup - one's just crossing over from Ultimate to Premium, and the other is a free trial that only lasts for 10 hours.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is the title joining Xbox Game Pass Premium, and this is obviously an Xbox first-party release from 2025. It's been a year since it made its debut, so that's why it's now arriving on the Premium tier as well.

For what it's worth, we gave THPS 3+4 a "Great" 8/10 score in our review last year:

The second game is EA Sports College Football 27, but this is not a permanent addition to Xbox Game Pass, and instead is only available in a 10-hour free trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass owners as part of the EA Play program.

The trial begins later today at 11am PST / 2pm EST / 7pm BST, and will be accessible via the Xbox Store:

  1. Search for "EA Sports College Football 27" on the Xbox Store
  2. Look for a button that says "Free trial with EA Play" or something along those lines
  3. Download the trial, and then you should be able to start playing!

We're expecting Microsoft to announce more Xbox Game Pass additions at some point next week, most likely on Tuesday. Until then, we'll leave you with more details on both of today's limited-form Xbox Game Pass titles below:
