Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (July 9-12) 1

Thursday has swung right back around again, and so it's time for a new batch of Xbox Free Play Day titles!

There are three games to get stuck into this weekend, and we're especially stoked that some of you will get to experience the brilliant sci-fi survival game The Alters for the first time. In addition to our personal recommendation, fans of diamonds, baseballs and all that whatnot can hop into MLB The Show 26, whilst STUFFED offers a "spooky teddy bear" first-person co-op shooter - if murderising garden gnomes is your thing.

It's not always the case, but on this occasion in order to give these games a go you'll need to have some sort of subscription to XGP. That can be Ultimate, Premium or even Essential.

What's interesting, however, is The Alters is already included with the XGP Ultimate, Premium and PC tiers, meaning this weekend gives Essential subscribers the chance to have a go too.

All three will be available to play until late on July 12th, and two of the three are on sale if you fancy buying after you've tried - both MLB The Show 26 and The Alters are currently 50% off whilst STUFFED remains full price.

  1. Search for the game on the Xbox Store
  2. Hit the "Install, Included with Game Pass" or "Free Trial" button
  3. Play the game!
