Sad Cat Studios, the team behind Xbox Game Pass platformer Replaced, has just announced that a new update has gone live on Xbox Series X|S; fixing some pretty major bugs for the 2026 title.
Indeed, this update — which is now available for Xbox players — "includes fixes for certain progression blockers" alongside sorting out the game's 'Chapter Select' feature. The team says to choose a chapter and return to the main menu to restore your previously unlocked chapters.
After such a long wait, Replaced did drop with a few noteworthy bugs — particularly on Xbox Series S — so it's good to see the team continue to fix them up post-launch.
The game also received a pretty major update a few days ago which added the ability to turn off the "Letterbox" visual style, skip dialogue and track collectibles when switching between chapters in the new level selector.
In terms of our lovely Pure Xbox readership, Replaced seems to have gone down well on Xbox, PC and Game Pass. The majority of you who tried it voted 7, 8, or 9 out of 10 in our recent poll on the title; pretty good going for this one!
