With Forza Horizon 6 previews landing today — including our very own here at Pure Xbox — Playground Games has gone ahead and revealed the overhead map for Horizon Japan, which the team says is "our most dense and vertical map yet".
We'll throw a link to their social media post showing an overview of the map down below, but considering we've explored the majority of this map during our recent hands-on time with the game, we thought we'd show off some of its most iconic landmarks in-game as well!
Before we get stuck in here, it's worth noting that both our map image at the top and the following screenshots are of the Spring season in-game, which is why they may look a little different to Playground's overhead view of the Summer season map. Our shots were all taken on Xbox Series S too - so Series X players can expect a bit of a visual boost in the final game as well.
Anyway, with Playground mentioning them above, here's a good look at both Tokyo City and the Japanese Alps areas:

And here are some shots of low-lying farmland and an overview of the game's forest region:

Finally, as a little bonus, here's a lovely cherry blossom pic alongside a look at one of the game's coastal areas:

As we mentioned in our written preview, Forza Horizon 6 absolutely contains the most diverse map in Forza Horizon history, and both the map above and our accompanying shots only tell a fraction of the story here. There's still plenty for everyone to explore when the full game arrives next month!
In the meantime, we'll chuck a link to our full hands-on preview for Forza Horizon 6 down below:
