Wolfenstein 3 'Casting Call' Reportedly Leaked, Performance Capture Set To Begin

There have been rumours for a long time that Xbox and Bethesda might be interested in working on Wolfenstein 3, and then back in January, it was suggested that the game was indeed in the plans.

Now, a new report from outlet MP1st claims that performance capture is set to begin for Wolfenstein 3 as soon as April 2026, and there are multiple shooting dates planned for both 2026 and 2027.

This is apparently from a leaked casting call that the outlet has "recently uncovered", which also mentions that the codename appears to be "Valkyrie" and both Performance Director Tom Keegan and Casting Director Emily Schweber are attached to the project. Keegan has worked on multiple Wolfenstein games in the past, while Schweber has been the Casting Director for the likes of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Battlefield 6, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and countless other games.

Developer MachineGames has said nothing yet, but did hint at a desire to make Wolfenstein 3 last year:

Very little is known about the project itself, aside from that the casting call is apparently for a character who's said to be a young orphan who forms a bond (as does her adopted dog) with franchise protagonist William “B.J.” Blazkowicz.

Let's not focus on the story aspects too much yet, but it's good to know that Wolfenstein 3 is seemingly well underway over at MachineGames. It sounds like we'll still be waiting a few years for it, but we're sure it'll be worth the wait.
