Microsoft has quietly revealed the first batch of five games leaving Xbox Game Pass in early January 2026, with all of these being highlighted as "leaving soon" on the official Xbox mobile app.
There are quite a few notable departures here, including Game Pass mainstays Road 96 and The Ascent, along with 2024's big day one release of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.
Here's the full list of games set to leave Xbox Game Pass in early January 2025:
| Date | Game | Platform |
| January 15 | Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn | Console, PC, Cloud |
| January 15 | Neon White | Console, PC, Cloud |
| January 15 | Road 96 | Console, PC, Cloud |
| January 15 | The Ascent | Console, PC, Cloud |
| January 15 | The Grinch: Christmas Adventures | Console, PC, Cloud |
You'll find discounts of at least 20% on all of these Xbox Game Pass titles until they leave on January 15th, and some may be reduced even more than that (such as Flintlock, which is currently 75% off as part of the Xbox Countdown Sale).
For those wondering, we're still waiting on Microsoft to reveal the first proper batch of Xbox Game Pass titles for 2026, and that's not likely to happen until next week. For now, we have just the two confirmed additions for January.
