As we get closer and closer to the voting for Pure Xbox's Game of the Year 2025 (look out for it this Saturday!), we've got more "Best Of" roundups to highlight from across the internet, with this latest one coming from GamesRadar.
Those folks have picked out their top 25 games of the year, with four Xbox first-party titles included in the mix. The highest placed one is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at #5, which is only here because it missed the cut-off for 2024's version of their list.
The other three are The Outer Worlds 2 (#9), Avowed (#12) and Ninja Gaiden 4 (#21), while Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 unsurprisingly took the top spot. Here's a look at the full top 25:
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Hades 2
- Donkey Kong Bananza
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- Silent Hill F
- Ghost of Yotei
- Elden Ring Nightreign
- The Outer Worlds 2
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
- Blue Prince
- Avowed
- Dispatch
- Peak
- Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
- Battlefield 6
- Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
- Split Fiction
- Pokemon Legends Z-A
- Assassin's Creed Shadows
- Ninja Gaiden 4
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Dying Light: The Beast
- Two Point Museum
- Mario Kart World
This seems a pretty decent list all in all, although personally I'd take issue with Split Fiction being so low down! That game doesn't seem to be getting enough love in the GOTY lists we've seen so far.
There's a lot more to come over the next few weeks, of course — and most importantly we'll have the Pure Xbox Game of the Year roundup on Christmas Day based on your votes. Get ready to submit your top five picks this weekend!
