In recent weeks, we've seen CayPlay's viral hit Waterpark Simulator popping up all over our YouTube and social media feeds - and to be honest, it's making us a bit jealous that we can't hop in and play on Xbox. Despite this being a Steam-only release for now though, the developer has hinted that other platforms are part of the plan eventually.

Responding to a fan question on Steam last month, the team said that "we do indeed plan to expand to other platforms and OS [operating systems], but we do not have a date set for it yet". The original question related to Apple Mac, but this response suggests that other platforms like Xbox are also under consideration.

"We do indeed plan to expand to other platforms and OS, but we do not have a date set for it yet. Support for multiple platforms does require a lot of manpower and we are a small team, so we would rather not make promises and then break them or release updates that break on platform X or Y because we couldn't test them properly."

If you've managed to avoid the algorithm pushing Waterpark Sim your way so far, the game's a silly physics-laden simulator that tasks players with opening up and running a neighbourhood waterpark. You can have a look at the game's Steam launch trailer up above, and we'll chuck some more screenshots down below as well:

We'll keep you folks in the loop if this one gets announced for Xbox, and in the meantime, the game is available in early access on Steam - and it has a free demo to boot!
