Battlefield 6 Comparison Shows Difference Between Xbox Series X And Series S

We're a little late to this one, but following our review of Battlefield 6 earlier today, we thought you might be interested in how the game is shaping up across both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S!

Fuzion Xbox Testing has become our go-to for stuff like this - we're not affiliated with the channel whatsoever, but it's a great source for getting early snapshots of how a game performs on both of Microsoft's current-gen consoles.

We mentioned in our review that Battlefield 6's "visuals and performance are fantastic on both Xbox Series consoles", and this footage certainly backs that up, with the game shown to be running at a very solid 60 frames per-second on the two systems. Even the Series S version looks really good - they've done an impressive job here.

There is also a performance mode on Xbox Series X that can reach up to 120 frames per-second, but it tends to hover around 90-100FPS it seems. For that reason, you're going to want a display that supports VRR to make the most of it.

As always, Fuzion Xbox Testing doesn't claim to a super in-depth source when it comes to testing, but it should be noted that Digital Foundry has also praised the "excellent release" and "rock-solid performance" of Battlefield 6 on PS5, although the outlet has yet to go into detail about the Xbox versions.

We'll leave you with some footage from each Xbox console below:
