We have a brand-new LEGO experience hitting Xbox today in the form of LEGO Voyagers; a two-player co-op adventure that marks a bit of a change of pace for LEGO games as of late.
This one forgoes the high-profile licenses and strips things back to a truly co-operative adventure, as you and a buddy shape the world around you, with plastic bricks of course. Reviews are just trickling in for this one now - so we're going to round them up down below to give you a flavour of what folks think of LEGO Voyagers so far.
GAMINGBible (10/10)
"LEGO Voyagers is undoubtedly one of the standout games of 2025. It’s quite unlike anything else I’ve played, combining clever co-op puzzling with a beautiful narrative - all contained within a perfectly presented package. It’s a joy to play and a true feast for the eyes."
DualShockers (9.5/10)
"LEGO Voyagers is quite easily my favorite LEGO game ever. It's a super short, but endlessly sweet co-op journey that will tug at your heartstrings by the end and stick with you long after the credits roll. It's a story about growing up that resonated with me deeply, and I really must urge you to check it out with whichever type of co-op buddy you please. The barrier to entry is low and perfect for playing with a partner, sibling, friend, kiddo, or even a parent. I wish it was slightly longer so it had some more time to flesh out some ideas, but what's here is truly special, more than worthwhile, and never wastes a second of your time."
PlayStation Lifestyle (9/10)
"LEGO Voyagers is a rather brief affair (my first playthrough clocked in at just over three hours), but each minute brings with it something new and novel. Whether you’re working together to repair a train track or taking a minute to unwind and play on a makeshift see-saw, it’s packed with these special moments that highlight the importance of friendships in our lives. It’s also, surprisingly, an incredibly emotional game (especially during its final moments), but I won’t dare spoil any of that for you."
Worth Playing (8.5/10)
"In the end, LEGO Voyagers is an awesome co-op experience that lasts for just the right amount of time. In four hours of playtime, you'll get a delightful little puzzle platformer with good, simple puzzles and lots of heart, even if there isn't dialogue to drive things along. The presentation is fantastic, and even though the game has a few minor issues, players should give this game a shot if they're a genre fan looking for a new co-op game to play."
IGN (8/10)
"I wholeheartedly recommend a quick run through LEGO Voyagers with a friend or, better yet, your child if you happen to be a parent. It may be a tier below Hazelight’s Split Fiction and It Takes Two when it comes to delightful mandatory co-op games, but it’s still an excellent two-player time for gamers of almost any age."
Eurogamer (4/5)
"As a short but sweet puzzle-adventure game, Lego Voyagers handles itself with an air of grace but no snootiness - a game so lovely it's hard not to feel sad when it's all over. Look deeper though, or simply from the privilege of age, and it'll leave a more lasting impression on those of us who know what proper friendship feels like. Sometimes a little "hello" is all you need."
Push Square (7/10)
"If you're interested in a laidback co-op experience with a friend, LEGO Voyagers fits that remit. It isn't doing anything truly groundbreaking, and there are some finicky controls that may get in the way, but overall it'll win you over with its clever design and a surprisingly emotional narrative."
